On June 19, the tragic story that occurred in Karelia attracted general attention.
Recall last Saturday at Syamozero killed 14 children, who rested in a local camp. The children, supervised by unprepared instructors, set out on a raft and two boats and were caught in a storm. One boat overturned, the children in it died.
On 23 June, the children who survived this incident were visited by the children's ombudsman Pavel Astakhov. During the visit, the Ombudsman behaved rather strangely - he asked one of the surviving girls with a smile, “How did you go for a swim?”. The child was taken aback, but a woman who was nearby, probably a relative of the girl, said, “Thank God, they survived.”

The editors of uznayvse.ru remind that in the camp where the children were resting, multiple violations were revealed. As it turned out, complaints about the administration of the institution had long been received, but before the children died, the authorities did nothing to correct the situation.
