Microsoft Word, the question of opening files

Installed Windows 7 Home with MS Office 2007. The question is specific to WORD. If we open the WORD application and then go to the file, the file opens perfectly. If differently, we move to a file, we get an error message ... "There was a problem sending the request in the program." I already looked on the Internet for some answers and tried 3 different solutions, but to no avail. I made repairs through the office CDs and this did not solve the problem. Here is one observation: if we move to an Excel file, the file will be opened "directly" without any problems. In Excel, files are in the same folder as Word files. If we try to open a Word file, we will get a USER ACCOUNT CONTROL window, and then an error message. The USER ACCOUNT CONTROL window is not displayed when opening an Excel file. If you look at the control panel and default programs with a .docx and .doc extension, all extensions are correctly installed and Microsoft Office 2007 Word will open. Any ideas on how to solve this? I was thinking about restarting WORD, but I honestly do not think this is an application problem. I believe that this will be connected with the problem of the program.
